Help for Granny.[story 1]
Story of an old man who lived alone in a village. Granny wanted to spade his potato garden . It was very hard work for work worn out Granny. His only grandson who would have helped him, was in prison.
Old Granny wrote a letter to his grandson recounting his situation:
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother-my daughter who just passed away always loved planting time too. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
While in prison, his grandson felt very bad and grumbled in a loud tone;‘For Heaven’s sake, Granny, don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!!’ .
4 a.m. next morning, dozen FBI agents and local police officers show up at Granny’s; digging up the entire garden but finding no guns.
Confused, Old Granny writes another note to his grandson telling him why the surge on his property. Grandson I’m so confused! What do I do from here”? He laments.
His grandson replies: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Granny. It’s the best I could do for you from here.’
